The bed is shaped like a celestial cow, previously known as "Mehet-Weret," meaning the Great Flood.
At the top of the cow's head, on both sides of the bed, there are horns with the sun disc in between. The body is covered with black stars, symbolizing the land of Egypt, known as the "fertile black land."
